United Way of Northern New Jersey is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees, with assistance from a Local Operating Board in each of the five counties in the northern New Jersey region.  Click on the links below to learn more about our Local Operating Board members:

By having two groups with distinctly different, but critical roles, we are able to engage strong community leaders in the work of governance, strategy, and advocacy. These groups provide the opportunity to be more inclusive of diversity and differing perspectives within the organization.
