Our Vision

The vision for United Way of Northern New Jersey is to improve people's lives and strengthen communities across the region by ensuring all citizens have access to the basic building blocks of a good life — EDUCATION, INCOME, and HEALTH.

To do this we will:

• Analyze and understand the unique needs of our communities
• Craft agendas to address these needs within and across our communities
• Build coalitions around these agendas
• Increase investments in these agendas by expanding and diversifying our own development efforts and supporting those of others
• Energize and inspire people to make a difference
• Measure, communicate, and learn from the impact of our efforts
• Reflect the diversity of the communities we serve
