United Way Success By 6®
Child care centers face a multitude of issues as they work to maintain their facilities, adhere to standards and guidelines, keep teachers apprised of the latest teaching trends and standards, and most of all keep parents and children happy. When centers struggle, they are forced to postpone or prolong projects just to keep their centers running.
Economies of Scale
United Way works with area child care centers to help them maintain quality and control expenses. If a number of centers have a need for a common purchase, such as new playground equipment to meet federal guidelines or cribs needed to meet new, stricter federal standards, we work to identify funding sources that can help with those purchases and negotiate to get the best possible prices.
