IRS Withholding Calculator
Some individuals may benefit from having less money withheld from their paychecks, giving them more money now to help pay bills or build savings. For others, they may not have enough withheld from their paychecks and end up having to pay back the government at tax time.

Affordable Care Act Eligibility
United Way is helping families and individuals find the best health care options available through the Marketplace at Healthcare.gov. Trained individuals (called navigators) will be available to meet with residents at select free tax sites in North Essex, Somerset, and Warren counties. For questions or to make an appointment, call 908.253.6521.
College Assistance Program
Learn how to make college happen through a pilot program aimed at helping students and families learn if they qualify for financial assistance.
If you have your taxes done at United Way’s Bridgewater office or Raritan Valley Community College, you can also receive help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Eligible participants must be between the ages of 18 and 49, be a US citizen or permanent resident, have not completed a bachelor’s degree or higher, and have an annual income of less than $55,000.
For questions or to make an appointment, call 908.253.6521. This program is being offered through a partnership with the National Community Tax Coalition.
