Tackling Food Insecurity One Food Pantry Shelf At A Time
Even before the pandemic hit, food security was a significant issue for thousands of ALICE families and those in poverty. ALICE was already navigating life without a safety net and was one crisis away from financial despair. That crisis is here, bringing an increase in food insecurity while pantries experience shortages. Through Foodstock, United Way of Northern New Jersey and our volunteers are collecting much-needed items for food pantries throughout our region.
